e House, with Jason Hughes in the bike, wired the harness racing field Wednesday night (August 1) at Red Shores Summerside to win the feature event over a rain soaked track in 2:00.2.

 

Hughes sent the pacer to the front and carved fractions of 29.3, 1:01.2 and 1:31.4. The Blaine McKenna trainee turned back a hard charging Matt Trapper for second while Four Brass Starz finished third.

 

McKenna co-owns Bet the House with Gary Arsenault of Miscouche.

 

Walter Cheverie, Brodie MacPhee and Mike Stevenson recorded driving doubles on the program.

 

Racing returns to Charlottetown Thursday and Saturday at 7pm.
