Dover, DE---King Royalty, overlooked at 10-1, won a track-meet dash to the wire to win the $20,000-$25,000 4&5-Year-Old Claiming Allowance at Dover Downs on Tuesday (Feb. 3). On the undercard, Jingle Bell Rock notched his seventh consecutive victory. Corey Callahan collected another four-win performance.

With four horses across in a 1:52.4 mile, King Royalty emerged with his first win as a 4-year-old in the day’s top claiming event. Swift As A Shadow (Callahan) closed with a rush to take second, race favorite Just Bettor (Vic Kirby) edged Bettor And Bold (Trace Tetrick) for third.

Currently, Tina Clark’s Jingle Bell Rocker is "king of the claimers" at Dover, racking up his seventh straight triumph.
