This year's edition of The Black Book includes more yearlings by the top winning sires than any other sale and in some categories more by those sires than all of all the other sales combined.


In the two year old pacing category the leading money winning sireSomebeachsomewhere is represented by 57 blue blooded yearlings, not only more than any other sale, but more than all other sales combined. He is followed in earnings by Art Major(46),Dragon Again(32) and Bettors Delight(66); all of whom have more yearlings than all sales combined.


In the two year old trotting category, money leader Cantab Hall has 34 yearlings more than the number of all other sales combined. He is followed by Credit Winner(17) and Donato Hanover(57); both of these represented by more yearlings than all other sales combined.


In the three year old pacing category Rocknroll Hanover leads with 67, again with more yearlings than all other sales combined. Rocknroll Hanover is followed by American Ideal(31) and Bettors Delight(66) both represented by more yearlings than any other sale has.


Cantab Hall is again the leading money winning sire of three year old trotters. His 34 yearlings lead all sales in numbers. He is followed by Kadabra(30) and Credit Winner(17) with more yearlings at Harrisburg than any other sale.


Rocknroll Hanover repeats in the all age category. His 67 yearlings are more than the total of all other sales combined. He is followed by Bettors Delight(66) and Dragon Again(32), each with more yearlings than all other sales combined.


Cantab Hall makes it a clean sweep, leading in the all age trotting category as well as the two and three year old ones.


The full Harrisburg roster will be posted on the sale’s website theblackbook.com early next week. The entire catalog will follow shortly thereafter. The hard copy catalogs of The Black Book will be available on or around September 12.
