Harrington, DE --- Harrington Raceway’s 66th season of live harness racing will resume tonight with a 15-race program.

The featured $18,000 Open Pace will go postward as the final leg of the Pick-4 (races 3-6) and boasts Elizabeth Brittingham’s As Bad As Thunder (2-1, Bret Brittingham), who is bidding for his fifth straight win. The 6-year-old Badlands Hanover gelding was claimed for $15,000 in February and has since been a dominant presence on the Delaware circuit with 10 wins and more than $114,000 earned this year. His biggest win came on July 26 in the $40,000 Governor’s Cup at Harrington. The Don Brittingham-trainee will start from post seven in the seven horse field.

Former horse of the meet Jeremy’s Successor (4-1, Sean Bier) and Wind Me Up (3-1, Montrell Teague), twice a runner-up to As Bad As Thunder, are among the competition.

Defending driving champ Ross Wolfenden (97 wins) is scheduled to drive in 10 races on the program while the meet’s leading trainer, Wayne Givens (24 wins) has two horses entered on the program.

Racing will continue on a Monday through Thursday schedule until October 29. Post time is 5:30 p.m.
