Harrington Raceway’s trotting track record holder Allmar Surprise ($3.40, Victor Kirby), successfully defended her turf Wednesday with a 1:56.1 triumph in the featured $20,000 Open Trot.
Owned by Chris Giaccio for trainer Kirby, the seven-year-old Angus Hall mare left alertly from post five and set all the fractions in her three length win over Cash On Delivery and Dilly Dally Delia.
The victory was her eighth of the season as she surpassed $105,000 in seasonal earnings.
