g>Dover, DE--It was deja vu in Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) second leg preliminaries for filly trotters as JA Going Alltheway and Luscious Leigh, trainer John Wagner and driver Vic Kirby duplicated last week’s opening round of the two weeks prelims on Tuesday (Nov. 20) at Dover Downs.

Kirby bided his time waiting until mid-backstretch before sending JA Going Alltheway into action and the daughter ofCR Commando-Anastasia J A rushed into the lead and rolled on for a lifetime record 2:00 victory, her fifth in an all-winning career thus far. She now has won $90,000 for owner Pamela Wagner.

Bosston Chevel finished second for George Dennis. Podium, the early leader, was third with Wayne Long driving.

In the second $20,000 DSBF frosh trot, Luscious Leigh and Kirby had a more difficult time holding off Starlit Eyes and Ross Wolfenden, but the John Wagner-owned CR Commando-Fox Valley Mo Jo chestnut showed her superiority in the stretch, winning in 2:00.4 for her third victory in seven races. Ella’s Command finished third for Jim Morand.

The top eight point-earners after the prelims will race for a $100,000 purse next Tuesday (Nov. 27).

Ben Stafford Jr., who won three straight races on Monday, collected his fourth straight driving By Design, owned by Randall Stafford and Ben Stafford, to win a $10,500 race for DSBF eligible filly pacers in 1:57.2. Seboomook Pandora (Mike Cole) was a head back in second with Ms Jen (Eddie Davis Jr.) the show horse.

Ooh Dear Sam overtook Racing Naked (Corey Callahan), second and Political Terror (Ross Wolfenden) in the final stride for a 1:52.1 victory in a Delaware-owned or -bred $20,000 claiming pace. Richard Zuluck and Crissman Inc. own the winner.
