The committee remarked on Winbak Farm’s accomplishments and strong growth record as being reasons why the farm is a model for other Maryland firms on the global horizon.
Select committee members interviewed Thomson at his Winbak Farm of Maryland, where they also learned about the operations and enjoyed a tour of the farm’s divisions.

Joe Thomson will be honored at Maryland’s 17th annual International Business Leadership Awards ceremony. The ceremony will take place from 5-8:30 p.m. at The Jim Rouse Visionary Center in Baltimore on March 6. The event will host nearly 400 of the area’s top business leaders, including the Governor of Maryland.
