HARRINGTON, Del. – Driver George Dennis won five races for the second straight night at Harrington Raceway Thursday.

The 43-year-old driver has excelled on “trot” nights at Harrington, as all trotting races are scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday during the five day a week racing schedule. Dennis notched his first win with long shot trotter PS Emily’s Tuition ($43.60) who improved dramatically in a 1:59.3 win in the 2nd race.

He then won the third (1st leg of the pick four) with his mother’s horse, Nellie Dennis’ Dawgone Fool ($8.60). He then took the final two legs of the pick four pacer Genie’s Genie (Badlands Hanover) ($30.20) and trotter Wingus (Angus Hall) ($12.80).

Dennis closed out the night with a win aboard trotter Rush Linbo ($8) in the 11th race. Dennis also won five races on Wednesday’s Harrington program.

Allan Davis also had three winners on the program, while Ross Wolfenden had a double.

Dennis currently sits atop the Harrington driver standings with 29 wins. Victor Kirby and Ross Wolfenden are tied for second with 22.
