Shebestingin (Bettor’s Delight-Armbro Tussle) came into her division without a loss in three career starts but was racing for the first time in 2013. Nonetheless she controlled matters on the front end and scored in a career-best 1:52:3 with Jim Morrill Jr. in the bike for trainer Joe Holloway. O Narutac Rockette finished second and Benearthebeach picked up the show.
In the other Weiss division, Jerseylicious (Western Ideal-Jet Lag N), who had won her previous five starts in 2013, stayed flawless by riding the engine all the way home in 1:54. Corey Callahan drove the winning filly for trainer Wayne Givens. My Sweet Mandy was second and Art Frenzy third.
