g>Caledon, Ontario— Winbak Farm of Canada is announcing the stud fee of Mutineer, the only son of Muscles Yankee with a book still open in Ontario, is lowered to $4,000 Cdn.

In 2009 Mutineer had Pointe To Pointe, 2, 1:58.3h ($137,775), who was a Season’s Leader for two-year-old trotting colts on a half-mile track and an Ontario Sire Stakes winner.  Mutineer also had Mets Inn, 3, 1:57.4s ($168,013) who was an Ontario Sire Stakes Gold Series Leader for three-year-old trotting fillies.

Mutineer, himself, still holds the track record at Balmoral Park for four-year-old trotters of 1:53.

“Mutineer is the last chance for breeders to breed to the Muscles Yankee line in Ontario for 2010,” stated Winbak of Canada Farm Manager Larry Drysdale. “Mutineer was a fast horse, who throws outstanding foals, and in 2009 they proved their ability to race as well.”
