Trenton, NJ --- The leading New Jersey-sired 2-year-old pacers and trotters will compete Saturday night (July 17) at the Meadowlands in four New Jersey Sire Stakes Night of Champions races worth $800,000 in total purses.

The $200,000 NJSS Championship Final for 2-year-old pacing fillies will feature a match of the two distaffers who broke the NJSS divisional record that had stood for 19 years.

Ace Of Pace, a daughter of Cam's Card Shark, and Lionness Hanover, sired by Western Ideal, scored back-to-back 1:53 victories in the second preliminary leg of the series. That erased the 1:53.1 mark set in 1991 by Emory Girl and matched in 1999 by Ladyjack. Also in the championship field will be Ivana Dance, a daughter of Rocknroll Hanover and winner of a preliminary division leg in 1:55.3.

In a field of 10 in the $200,000 NJSS Championship Final for 2-year-old pacing colts and geldings will be two sons of Rocknroll Hanover. Lookinfor Adventure, winner of two preliminary legs in identical times of 1:52.2, will be challenged by Roll With Joe, who won one leg of the series.

Another two-time NJSS preliminary leg winner, Big Sky Storm (Classic Photo), heads the field for the $200,000 championship for 2-year-old trotting colts and geldings. Single preliminary leg winners Winuendo (Windsong’s Legacy) and Leader Of The Gang (Muscles Yankee) will be the top point-earning challengers.

In the $200,000 NJSS championship for 2-year-old trotting fillies will be four winners of preliminary legs, Angelette Hanover (Yankee Glide), Crème De Cocoa (Chocolatier), Woodshopper (Muscles Yankee) and Global Desire (Yankee Glide).
