g>Nichols, NY --- Ali Blue (Yannick Gingras) posted the fastest time of three divisions of New York Sire Stakes for freshman pacing fillies on Monday night (July 29) at Tioga Downs.

Leaving from post one in a field scratched down to seven, Gingras moved Ali Blue back to the front after an opening quarter of :29 set by Suplemental Income (Matt Kakaley). From there the duo posted fractions of :57.1 and 1:24.4 before sprinting home in :27.4 to capture her third win of the season in a new lifetime best of 1:52.3.

The only blemish on the record of the 2-year-old daughter of American Ideal–Mintjulep Bluechip came in the Tompkins-Geers stakes where Ali Blue broke a hobble just after the start of the race. Jimmy Takter trains Ali Blue for the ownership group of Christina Takter, John Fielding, RAW Equine and Jim Fielding.
