Arthur Blue Chip, the top money earning two-year-old pacing colt in the Ontario Sires Stakes program this year, capitalized off breaks made by Battle of Waterloo champion Three Of Clubs and Metro Pace winner Boomboom Ballykeel to collect another Gold trophy early Saturday evening at Mohawk Racetrack.

Driven by Randy Waples for trainer Dr. Ian Moore, Arthur Blue Chip recovered from an early miscue himself and circled the field to win in 1:53.

Three Of Clubs (Doug McNair) led the field through fractions of :26.4. :55.1 and 1:23.2 with Boomboom Ballykeel (Sylvain Filion) advancing first over from third. Boomboom Ballykeel broke stride entering the stretch leaving Three Of Clubs clear on top to open up on the field. But Three Of Clubs also jumped it off down the lane and Arthur Blue Chip came charging by to pick up the pieces. Cluster Hanover (Jody Jamieson) also closed well to finished a half-length behind in second while Marco De Vie (Billy Davis Jr.) was third.

The Shadow Play-Advantest colt, who also earned a Gold victory in the June 28 leg and in the Mid-Summer Challenge on July 19 at Mohawk, is owned by Shadow One Stable of Guelph, Ont. He is now six-for-nine in his career with earnings totalling $264,495.

Great White Way earned his first OSS win in the $70,000 Gold division for two-year-old trotting colts.

Patriots Path (Trevor Ritchie) led the field through fractions of :28.4, :58.3 and 1:27.4 with Massacaia (Sylvain Filion) advancing into a gaping pocket spot when Hope For Justice (Jody Jamieson) broke stride. Meanwhile, driver Doug McNair had Great White Way following from fifth and came sprinting home to prevail in 1:58. Massive Muscles (Jean Bernard Renaud) came on for second one length behind while Massacaia finished third over the pacesetter.

The Deweycheatumnhowe-Stage Show colt is trained by Richard 'Nifty' Norman for owner Fashion Farms LLC of New Hope, Pennsylvania. A runner-up in two prior Gold legs, Great White Way sports a 2-2-0 record in six outings with his bankroll climbing to $62,610.
