day, November 4, Three Of Spades, a 10-year-old Cams Card Shark-Triple Flip gelding, overtook race favourite Feel Like A Fool in the stretch en route to a 1:52.3 victory in the opening-night feature race at Dover Downs.

Seven drivers accounted for all the wins on the 15-race program. Allan Davis drove three winners to bring his career total to 3,999, while six others – Corey Callahan, George Dennis, Vic Kirby, Bret Brittingham, Jonathan Roberts and Tony Morgan – posted doubles.

With Roberts in the bike, Three Of Spades rushed away from the starting gate to take the lead and then relinquished the front to Feel Like A Fool after the quarter. A 57-1 shot, Pike Hanover, driven by Allan Davis, closed to finish third in the $9,500 Male pace.

Three Of Spades has finished either first, second or third in 12 of his 28 starts this campaign and now has banked $43,455 of his lifetime total $745,953 for owners Bill DeLovic and trainer William Roberts.

Defending driving champion Corey Callahan, Harrington Raceway’s co-leader this season, George Dennis and Bret Brittingham all made the winner’s circle twice.

On Monday, North State Street Stable’s Monocromatic, and Corey Callahan, is the one to beat in the $20,000 distaff feature race.
