>Dover, DE --- Kelsey’s Commando won the 2-year-old filly trot, the first of four $100,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) 2-year-old finals on Monday, Nov. 25 at Dover Downs.

Vic Kirby drove Kelsey’s Commando into the lead from post 7 taking the lead after reaching the opening quarters and then maintained her superiority for a lifetime best 2:00.1 victory on a chilly late afternoon. A daughter of CR Commando-Anastasia JA, Kelsey’s Commando was bred by co-owner Pamela Wagner and Richard Lombard and the JJ&M Stable. She has now won three of seven starts and $129,210 in purses. Way Over Paid made a big move for Bryan Truitt on the backstretch but could not catch the winner. Overnight Hit also came on strongly for Art Stafford Jr. to finish third.

The DSBF scene shifts to the $100,000 colt and gelding trot final on the Tuesday program.
