DOVER, Del. --- Eight start in the $100,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) Three-Year-Old Filly Trot Final, the Tuesday, April 8 feature race during Dover Downs final week of racing this meet.
 

Last week - trainer, driver and co-owner Art Stafford Jr. with Wyatt Starkey - guided Overnight Hit to a mild upset overtaking favorite JJ&M Stable, Richard Lombardo and breeder Pam Wagner’s Kelsey’s Commando and Vic Kirby, for the 1:58 victory. Meanwhile, Stop The Jade Farm’s Bella’s Spunkin, driven by Allan Davis, scored his second straight prelim victory. The other $20,000 DSBF prelim was won by 30-1 longshot Onery Inc.’s Even Brighter piloted by Bret Brittingham.
 

The rest of the contenders are; Lowe Walker and ONB’s Gogh Gogh teamed with Tony Morgan; Ed and Karen Wells’ Oso Grateful and George Dennis, Way Over Paid, owned, trained and driven by Bryan Truitt burdened by outside post 8 and Limborghini with Eddie Davis Jr. bred and trained by Andy Markano and co-owners E.L. Goans and V.P. Schoeffel.
 

The final week of Dover Downs’ 45th season presents a $100,000 DSBF Final for sophomore male trotters on Wednesday. The $100,000 colt and gelding final is the closing day headliner on Thursday.
 

Wednesday and Thursday racing starts at 4:30 p.m.
