A total of 21 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund pacing fillies completed their second leg of stakes action Tuesday at Harrington Raceway.

 

Gigi Deo ($2.10, Ross Wolfenden) was a decisive winner in the first division with a 1:54.3 triumph over Little Sandyloam and Windy Pacific. Owned by J And T Silva Stables LLC and C And G Racing Stable and Deo Volente Farms LLC, the Riggins sired filly notched her sixth career win in 18 starts for trainer Aaron Lambert.

 

Joann Looney-King's Purrfect Bags ($2.10, Victor Kirby) completed her sweep of DSBF eliminations with a 1:53 triumph over Love Forbidden and Fancy Sound. Trained by Jim King, Jr., the Roddys Bags again filly (Purrfect Bags) never had an anxious moment in her five-length score.

 

Meanwhile, Totally Rusty ($2.10, Wolfenden) also capped off a sweep of her eliminations with a 1:54 romp over Nellas Bus and Iaquinta. Totally Rusty, a daughter of Rustys For Real, picked up her 14th career win in 17 lifetime starts for owners Let It Ride Stables, Dana Parham and Carter Racing Stables. Totally Rusty, who co-holds the track record for three-year-old fillies, is trained by Ross Croghan.

 

George Dennis had four winners on the program.

 

A series of four $100,000 DSBF finals will be contested on July 30 at Harrington Raceway as part of a rich program during the Delaware State Fair with a special 7 p.m. post time.
