Washington, PA --- Hidden Land shed cover around the final turn and nailed the game leader, Set Me Up, at the wire to capture Tuesday’s (Dec. 22) $24,800 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.

Away fifth for Eric Goodell, Hidden Land followed the live cover of Spreester before taking aim at Set Me Up, who had been stung by a :26.2 opening quarter on a 'good' surface. Hidden Land got her nose past Set Me Up to score in 1:52.2. The pocket-sitting Coffee Addict finished third.

Brad Irvine trains Hidden Land, a 4-year-old daughter of Badlands Hanover-Armbro Ocasey who now boasts $147,257 in career earnings, for William Sartin and Mark Salerno.

Tony Hall piloted five winners, Goodell four and Jim Pantaleano three on the 16-race card.
