Washington, PA  ---  In the opening leg of the Daylon Miracle Trot at The Meadows, She Glides scored in 1:56.3, fastest of the year by a sophomore filly trotter on a five-eighths-mile track. But the daughter of Glidemaster-Some Like It Lindy wasn’t content to rest on her laurels.


In Wednesday’s (April 15) second leg of the series, she lowered her own national season’s mark, powering to the lead for Jim Pantaleano and winning under wraps in a career-best 1:55.4. RV Janet was 8-3/4 lengths back in second, with Mercer County third. Jennifer Sabot trains She Glides, who has won her series splits by a combined 21-1/4 lengths, for Little Bapa, LLC.


Donato Babe and Isabella Carina took the other $14,000 series splits. The championship leg of the Daylon Miracle is set for Wednesday, April 22.


Elsewhere on the card, Unefoisdansmavie captured the $18,000 Filly & Mare Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Trot with a powerful first-over move that carried her to victory in 1:55. Whata Donato and Anaffairtoremember completed the ticket. Mike Wilder drove Unefoisdansmavie, an 8-year-old daughter of Revenue S-Peace To The World who soared over $500,000 in career earnings, for trainer Ron Burke and owners Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and Jack Piatt III.


In the $16,500 Winners Over $10,000 Life Handicap Pace, Dew N Doughnuts withstood a number of challenges while on the lead and triumphed for Wilder, trainer Norm Parker and owner Tom Klosky, Jr. in 1:52.4. Hillbilly Hanover was second,  a half-length back, while Want Me earned show. A 5-year-old son of Real Desire-Artbitration, Dew N Doughnuts extended his lifetime bankroll to $217,495.


Burke enjoyed a four-bagger on the 14-race card while Dave Palone and Wilder each piloted three winners.
