Middletown, NY --- The third annual Goshen Yearling Sale has been scheduled for Sun, Sept. 10, 2017 at the Mark Ford Training Center in Middletown, N.Y.

Goshen Yearling Sale president, Bob Boni noted, “We made every effort to avoid the conflicts that we unfortunately had in the 2016 sale schedule. With our second sale last year, we continued to grow and provide a very necessary venue for a variety of buyers and sellers, and we hope to add to that in 2017.

"The feedback from our consignors and those who attended the 2016 sale has been very positive and we all look forward to doing whatever we can to make our sale experience even better in Sept. 2017 and going forward.”

The 2016 harness horse sale featured strong consignments from Hanover Shoe Farms, Winbak Farm, Blue Chip, Concord Stud and Cameo Hills, just to name a few.

The sale facility is centrally located within a 90-minute drive of the major tracks and training centers in the area.

"The location has been ideal as it is within close proximity to many of the trainers and owners in the tri-state region that purchase yearlings," noted Joe Thomson the owner of Winbak Farms, the second largest breeder of Standardbreds in North America. "Several thousand Standardbreds are either raised or trained within a 75-mile radius of Goshen."

All industry farms and agencies are invited and encouraged to participate in our successful auction, held just outside Goshen's 'Cradle of the Trotter.'
