DOVER, Del. --- Barbara’s Shadow, who has won her last three in-a-row, and Dismissal, following near misses in her last two outings,  second by a neck after being second by a head, both to Barbara’s Shadow, seeks to return to her four consecutive winning form earlier this year meeting in the $15,000 4&5-Year-Old distaff feature at Dover Downs on Tuesday, March 21. Post Time is 4:30 p.m.

Barbara’s Shadow is the winningest female pacer at the track this meet registering six victories, all in 2017. Tony Morgan will drive the streaking four-year-old owned by Brian Hoffecker, trainer Leigh Raymer and driver Vic Kirby.

Owned by CTC Stable, Dismissal will return with driver Corey Callahan who was in the bike for all of her four earlier wins. Forrest Bartlett’s sharp Barefoot Julie, piloted by Tim Tetrick, finished second in all four of her February starts.

David Banks and Layfield Horses’ On Your Six, with Allan Davis steering, has been victim of racing much of her recent starts parked on the outside. Bad Lightning, with Art Stafford Jr. leaves from the rail for owners Josh Parker and Nanticoke Racing. The other contenders are Lou Catana and Vince Bradley’s In The Shadows, who should benefit from moving inside from post 8 last time and Benda Teague’s homebred Wiggle It J with Jim Morand in the bike.

A competitive group of female pacers highlight the rest of the Tuesday program.
