With 12 horses entered in the Dexter Cup, an 8-horse elimination, worth $44,400, has been carded for Saturday, April 25, at Freehold Raceway. The connections of four horses took byes and will start in the final.

The 8-horse elimination, from the rail out, will feature Switchblade Hall, Handover The Money (Winbak graduate), HA Taylor, Bavaro, Divisionist, Apostles Creed, Explosiveday and Southwind Mozart. The four "bye" horses are Broken Record (Winbak graduate & Muscles Yankee son), Gabe The Bear Dean (sired by Lucky Chucky), Habitat and Sixteen Encores.
