Jimmy Takter trained Maven, with Johnny Takter in the bike, will start from post position two in the Broline Copenhagen Cup at Charlottenlund on Sunday (May 10).

At last, Lady Luck smiled on the 6-year-old North American mare, who in her last four races had to start from post positions eight-eight-10 and 10, which is either at the far outside behind the gate or from the second tier.

The Copenhagen Cup is raced over the 1-1/4 mile distance and the purse for the winner is $75,000.

Back in 1998 Jimmy Takter won the race with Moni Maker, driven by Wally Hennesey.
