Artspeak, p, 2, 1:50.2s; 3, 1:47.4 ($1,770,980), was both the USHWA Dan Patch and O’Brien 2-Year-Old Colt Pacer of the Year. At 2, he won a Bluegrass Series division, Governors Cup Final, Metro Pace elimination and Final, Nassagaweya Stakes division and New Jersey Sire Stakes leg and Final. At 3, he won Breeders Crown elimination, Max Hempt Memorial division, New Jersey Sire Stakes leg and Final, Simcoe Stakes division and Tattersalls Stakes division.
Artspeak’s first crop is now 2. Artspeak’s first crop and second crops are Pennsylvania-eligible.
“After talking to trainers, the training reports seem to be very good for Artspeak’s two-year-olds,” said Woods.
“We are greatly anticipating Artspeak’s offspring hitting the track in 2019,” said Art Zubrod, Brittany Farm Manager.
Artspeak’s first Ontario crop is being born in 2019.
“Ontario breeders are extremely happy with the conformation and athleticism that the foals are showing,” said Pat Woods, Winbak of Ontario Manager. “Several breeders have already booked and bred their mares back to him.”
