“Breeders no longer have to concern themselves with the high cost of transporting their yearlings to market, sales prep and catalog fees as well as traditional auction sales commissions,” said onGait.com’s Maurice Chodash, who will be overseeing the auction. “We’re expecting other major breeders to be committing their consignments soon. But whether selling one yearling or a barn full, onGait provides maximum exposure for minimal cost.”
Entries are being taken now through Tuesday, Sept. 17 with bidding to start on Wednesday, Sept. 18 and ending on Saturday, Sept. 21.
There is a $100 entry fee to consign each yearling. After the auction ends, there will be a fee of 4 percent of the winning bid or reserve bid amount.
