The Bank, 2, 1:53.4; 3, 1:50.4 ($1,214,895), was a stakes winner at 2 and 3. He is the son of Millionaires, Donato Hanover and Lantern Kronos. Lantern Kronos was the USHWA Dan Patch and O’Brien Award Winner for Three-Year-Old Trotting Filly of 2008.
At 2, he won the Bluegrass Stakes and Pennsylvania All Stars. He was second in a Breeders Crown elimination and Kindergarten Series leg.
At 3, The Bank won the Breeders Crown Final, American National Stakes, Stanley Dancer Trot and Pennsylvania Sire Stakes leg and Final. He was second in the Colonial Trot Final, Goodtimes Trot elimination and Final, Bluegrass Stakes, Hambletonian Stakes elimination and Canadian Trotting Classic elimination.
The Bank previously stood at stud in Sweden. His oldest crop is now 2. There were 88 in his first crop.
“The Bank will provide a good outcross for most trotting mares,” said Woods.
The Bank will be standing at Winbak Farm of Ontario for $5,000 CAD. There will be limited syndicate shares available.
