Three Accounts was a non-factor in last week’s $10,500 Fillies & Mares Preferred 2 Handicap at Flamboro Downs, but some class relief made her a major danger in Thursday’s $8,500 Fillies & Mares Preferred 3.


Colin Kelly wasted no time in establishing the lead with Three Accounts, and the Rob Fellows trainee sailed through fractions of :28.2, :58.1 and 1:26.2 before using a :29.2 closing quarter to win by three-quarters of a length over Filly Forty Seven in 1:55.4. Race favourite Tables Big Secret was third.

 

Hutt Racing Stable, Yolanda Fellows and Patrick Dillon share ownership on the five-year-old daughter of Mach Three-Accountable. It was the fourth win of the season – and the 13th to date – for the career winner of $80,324.
