Wilkes-Barre, PA --- Racing gets underway for the 47th season at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs on Tuesday (April 3) and applications are now being accepted.
Interested horsemen should submit their stall/ship-in applications online immediately, as previous year’s stall assignments may change for the 2012 season. The stable area opens for the season on March 1.
Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will race Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from April-June, and in July and August, Sunday evening racing will be added to the line-up. All post times are 6:30 p.m., with the exception of Kentucky Derby Day, which will feature an 11 a.m. card and another card immediately following the 138th Kentucky Derby.
The first qualifying races will be held on Tuesday (March 27).
