The second leg of the Ontario Sired Autumn Series was contested on Saturday (Oct. 17) at Flamboro Downs with a pair of divisions and impressive performances in each.

Buckys Angel gets top billing after his impressive gate-to-wire score for trainer-driver Wayne MacLean and owner-breeder Jocelyne Menard of Chelmsford, Ont. The son of Archangel - Giona was more than five lengths the best, hitting the wire in a sharp lifetime best 1:59.

A winner in the first leg as well, Buckys Angel picked up his fourth win in eight career outings.

After finishing third in the opening leg, Halliday Dream was a very impressive week two winner for driver J and trainer Jack Harris. The three-year-old son of Angus Hall - Always Dreaming broke his maiden for owner Kyle Ruhl of Guelph, Ont. in style with a 15-length romp in 2:00.3.

These two colts will likely factor prominently in next week's $20,000 Final at Flamboro.
