>Dover, DE --- Local favorite Allmar Surprise was overlooked in the $16,500 winners-over trot at Dover Downs on Wednesday, Feb. 15, scoring a 1:54.4 victory in the feature and Tony Morgan moved to within two wins of becoming the third driver in North American history to win 14,000 races.

Since arriving at the track three years ago, Allmar Surprise has been one of the winningest trotters. Victor Kirby, who seems to have the key to the 7-year-old daughter of Angus Hall--Benita Victory, took her right to the front and could not be caught by eight male rivals. Photo Maxx (Jon Roberts) closed in his customary style but could get no closer than second at the wire. Master In Charge (Ross Wolfenden) finished third.

Chris Giaccio owns Allmar Surprise, now a winner of three of her five 2012 starts. Her season’s earnings are $26,600.

The Josh Green Stable became the first local outfit to win four times on one card this season, and Green was winning owner three times. Ross Wolfenden, Corey CallahanRon Pierce and Brad Hanners all had driving doubles.
