A half-dozen three-year-olds --- five colts and a gelding --- have been entered to contest Yonkers Raceway's Art Rooney Pace.

The limited number of entrants means the 22nd edition of the Rooney, worth $306,204, shall be a one-dash-for-the-cash event, scheduled for the evening of Saturday, June 2.

The contestants, in alphabetical order with declared drivers, are Bolt the Duer (Mark MacDonald), Domethatagain (Bettor's Delight) (Dan Noble), Dynamic Youth (Bettor's Delight) (Andrew McCarthy), Hurrikane King Cole (Tim Tetrick), Major Bombay (Jason Bartlett) and Pet Rock (Brian Sears). Dynamic Youth is the gelding in the group.

The Rooney's companion event, the $176,484 Lismore Pace for sophomore fillies, attracted five young ladies. It, too, is a single-dash soiree set for June 2.

The lineup of lasses, listed alphabetically, is Bettor B Lucky (George Brennan) (Bettor's Delight - Winbak Graduate), Handsoffmycookie (Winbak Graduate) (Tim Tetrick), Jamie Sue (Winbak Graduate) (Mark MacDonald), JK Fine Art (Jim Morrill Jr.) and Ryder Blue Chip (Jason Bartlett).

Please be advised that both races are to be drawn during the afternoon of Tuesday, May 29, as part of the regular Saturday draw.
