There's not much of her but she her harness racing driver Dexter Dunn doesn't care about how big or small she is. He's just delighted Onlyforyou knows how to pace. And the Art Major filly proved she iscurrently the best female 2-year-old going around in New Zealand at present after winning the Group One $170,000 Sires Stakes Fillies Championship at Alexandra Park tonight (Friday May 4).

Onlyforyou copped the horrible 10 draw in the 1700m mobile but it was again Dunn's genius in the bike which saw her in the one-one with a lap to go.

Then in the straight she pounced for a powerful three quarter length and nose victory over Opulent (David Butt) and Dixey Styx (Peter Ferguson).

Onlyforyou stopped the clock in 2:03.75 (mile rate: 1:57.1) with final 800m and 400m sprints of 58 and 28.7 seconds respectively.

"WE got a run into the race at just the righttime," Dunn said of the Cran Dalgety trained filly.

"She's not that big but she is very powerful. She hasn't had much luck and deserved this tonight," he added.

Onlyforyou has now won two of her eight starts and placed in five others and just under $150,000 in stakes.

It was her second win on the track and over the distance.

She is owned by Tenarewho Syndicate, A J W Henderson, Southern Men Syndicate, D A G Murray, Mrs B H Murray and was bred by C H Barlow, and Mrs T J Barlow.
