Washington, PA — Winbak Farm has donated a breeding to the proven stallion Heston Blue Chip to benefit the College Scholarship Fund of the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association.

An online auction for the breeding currently is underway at ongait.com/Listings/View/10195 (minimum bid $4,000) and ends Tuesday (March 23) at noon.

A son of American Ideal-Shot Togo Bluechip, Heston Blue Chip earned more than $1.78 million with a mark of 1:48f. In 2012, he won the Dan Patch Award as the sport’s best 3-year-old male pacer. He stands for a $6,000 fee.

This is the second major donation to the fund in recent weeks. Hanover Shoe Farms earlier donated a breeding to Betting Line that raised $6,200 through a similar online auction.
