A native of Conneticut, James has a lifetime of horse experience.

He grew up showing quarter horses in his home-state before he worked for Elk Outfitters in Colorado and Wyoming.

He later worked as a packer in California and Alaska.

His hobbies include hunting, fishing and reading.

James has a wife Debbie and a son, Quinn.
