Winbak Farm sadly reports the passing of Political Briefing, 2, 1:58; 3, Q1:56.2 ($312,743). Political Briefing had stood at Winbak Farm of Delaware before retiring. He was euthanized due to lameness issues. 


At 2, Political Briefing won the Champlain Stakes, Harriman Cup and 2 New Jersey Sires Stakes divisions and Final. He was second in a Breeders Crown elimination, Campbellville Stakes, and Peter Haughton Memorial Final.


Political Briefing was a half-brother to Bluegrass Stakes Winner, Self Professed, 2, 1:56.2; 3, 1:54; 1:53 ($1,198,690).


“Winbak Farm is proud to have been the breeder of Political Briefing,” said Jack Burke, General Manager. “We were happy to be able to stand him in the rich state of Delaware for his stallion career.”
