g>Bangor, ME --- Gary Mosher had the hot hands over the weekend at Scarborough Downs with 12 victories. He followed that with eight victories on Monday night's card at Bangor Raceway -- which tied a New England record set by Walter Case, Jr. at Scarborough Downs in 1995.

 

Mosher started the night by capturing the Daily Double with I Love Too Much (1:59.1) and Reporting For Duty (2:02.1). Mosher took the third race off and got a fifth and sixth in the next two races, respectively.

 

He went on to run the table by winning every race on the rest of the card. He had victories in race six with Act Proud (2:02.3), race seven with You’re News (2:00.2), race eight with Thaacaretheeso (1:59.1), race nine with Ms Lynette (1:58.2), race 10 with Speedy Ryan (2:00.2), and race 11 with In Better Hands (2:01).

 

With four victories this past Friday night at Bangor, Mosher's total victories for the four day stretch equals 24 victories in 42 starts -- a 57 percent win ratio. Mosher, a native of Waterville, Maine, has won more than 5,600 races in his career.
