The annual spring matinee races for 2-year-olds have been scheduled for Sunday (April 7). The matinee event is co-sponsored by the Village of Pinehurst Parks and Recreation Department and is supported by local residents and businesses, as well as by many farms and businesses in the harness racing industry, both in the United States and Canada.
Matinee day is always a fun-filled day with exciting races, pick-a-winner contests, food and fellowship.
The list below includes 2-year-olds in training at Pinehurst. There are also many older horses in training at the track -- and USTA sanctioned qualifying races for 3-year-olds and older are scheduled for Wednesday (April 10).
