He went on to win the $350,000 Adios Final the following week. One of his most notable victory at three were victories in the elimination and final of the Little Brown Jug (in a stakes record 1:50h first heat and 1:50.1h final-setting the world record for two heats).
Before retirement at 4, he won the US Pacing Championship at the Meadowlands in 1:47.4 and was second in the Breeders Crown. By The Panderosa, Shadow Play garnered earnings in excess of $1.5 million.
