il 9th, 2013 Winbak Farm will be selling broodmares and yearlings at the Chicks Harness Horse Sale in Harrington, Delaware. The sale starts at 11:30 am and buyers are advised to get there early.

 

The farm is selling three Delaware eligible yearlings and two Pennsylvania eligible yearlings. The Delaware program went for $3.8 Million in 2012 and offered each division two $100,000 Finals, two $30,000 Consolations and two legs before each Final. The Pennsylvania Sire Stakes went for $10 Million last year. Pennsylvania offers three levels of competition, Sire Stakes, Stallion Series and County Fairs. Winbak-bred yearlings selling include:

 

Hip #20 Summer of Fun – This Delaware-eligible yearling pacing filly, sired by Artzina, is a half-sister to 3 who have earned over $100,000 including Placenthesun, p, 1:53.1f ($135,641) and Royal Command, p, 1:53.1 ($131,400). She is from the maternal family of Nuclear Design, p, 1:50.4 ($361,848). Artzina’s first crop is now 2.

 

 Hip #21 Tiara Beauty – This Delaware-eligible yearling trotting filly, a daughter of Crown Prince Gar, is from the maternal family of Bluegrass Winner, Baltic Region, 3, 1:55 ($528,124). Her dam’s offspring includes 3 winners and this filly’s full-brother Big Award, ($56,450) who was a strong contender in DSBF action.

 

Hip #24 Frame Of Mind – This Delaware-eligible yearling trotting filly, sired by Giant Hit, is a half-sister to Champlain Winner, Maximum Speed, 1:56.2s ($297,252). Her maternal family includes Millionaire Lucky Jim, 1:50.1 ($1,930,402).

 

Hip #26 Patience Pays – This Pennsylvania-eligible trotting filly is sired by SJ’s Caviar. She is a half-sister to Frenchmen, 1:58.2h-’12 ($98,152) and from the maternal family of Kosmo Girl, 3, 1:56f ($360,689).

 

Hip #27 Quikology – This Pennsylvania-eligible pacing colt, sired by Quik Pulse Mindale, is a January foal. He is a half-brother to DSBF elimination winner, Dyslexic, p, 3, 1:54.3f ($100,575). His maternal family includes Betterthancheddar, p, 1:48f-’12 ($1,578,269) and Ashlee’s Big Guy, p, 1:50.4f ($978,168).

Hip #6 Spirit Flyte – This daughter of Laag is already a proven producer. She is the dam of DSBF Winner Pushintheenvelope, p, 3, 1:54.4f-’12 ($63,325) and Vital Flyte, p, 3, 1:52.4f ($249,827). Last breed date was 5/16/12 to Rustler Hanover.

 

Hip #12 Billie Jean Mac – This BJ’s Mac mare is a full-sister to Bobbi Jo Mac, 2, 1:57.3 ($122,469), the dam of Bobbi Jos Lindy, 1:54.1f-’12 ($209,445). She is also the half-sister to Mom’s Millionaire, the dam of Snow White, 2, 1:52.4 ($1,433,551). Her last breed date was April 1, 2013. She comes with a return breeding, stud fee paid to CR Commando for the 2013 breeding season if she comes up open. Collection and breeding fees do apply.

 

Hip #14 Coastal Living – An Island Fantasy daughter who has produced 2 winners from 2 foals of racing age. This young mare is a half-siser to Donna’s Girl, p, 3, 1:53s ($497,837). She was last bred on 2/23/13 to Millionaire Dream Away. Her buyer will also  receive a return breeding, stud fee paid to Dream Away for the 2013 breeding season if she comes up open. Collection and breeding fees do apply.

 

Hip #17 Gunjan – This mare, a daughter of Donerail, comes from the maternal family of Roman Holiday, 1:55.2s ($312,150). Her oldest foal is now 2. She was last bred to Political Briefing on May 21, 2012.
