g>Harrington, DE--Harrington Raceway’s scheduled shift to a four-day racing week will begin starting the week of June 9, the same time a 6-percent (across the board) purse increase will take effect.

 

The 92-day race meet will continue on a Sunday through Wednesday schedule through June 26 before a month-long hiatus leads into the annual Governor’s Day racing program during the Delaware State Fair on July 25 (special 7 p.m. post time). The aforementioned purse increase will be seen on the next condition sheet for the Tuesday June 4 draw for races June 9.

 

The meet will then resume on a four-day schedule of Monday through Thursday from August 12 until October 24. Harrington’s signature race, the 7th Annual Bobby Quillen Memorial, will have eliminations (if necessary) September 9 and the final September 16.
