Rodney Long and Tim and Joe Hundertpfund’s Hot Roddy ($2.10, George Dennis) kept his near perfect resume intact with a 1:55.3 win in the first division. The Roddy’s Bags Again colt improved to 10-for-12 lifetime and has never been worse than second for trainer/co-owner Joe Hundertpfund.
The second division went to Only Money Inc. and Joel and Dianne Halpern’s Bags Of Money ($5.20, Ben Stafford Jr.), who was a wire-to-wire winner in 1:55.2. Trained by Ben Stafford, it was the 5th win in 12 career starts for the Roddy’s Bags Again colt.
David Hamm’s By A Time ($2.10, Victor Kirby) took the third division in 1:55.3. The By A Length gelding made a quarter-pole move to the front and never looked back in his five-length win.
In the overnight feature, the $18,000 Open Pace, Johnny Waite’s Fissato ($7.80, Allan Davis) notched his third win in his last four starts, with a 1:52.3 triumph.
The 8-year-old Cambest gelding utilized the passing lane to get by pacesetter Sparky Mark, who finished second. Mojo Terror was placed third after Feel Like a Fool was disqualified and placed fourth for making a lapped-on break at the wire.
Ross Wolfenden and George Dennis each won three races on the program.
