>For the second week-in-a-row Angel On The Wing came up big on the track and on the toteboard. Trevor Henry was just as big in the racebike thanks to a natural five-bagger.

Angel On The Wing, a six-year-old daughter of Bo Knows Jate-Angels Uprising who pulled off a 12-1 upset in the April 15 edition of the $7,350 Fillies & Mares Preferred 3 at The Raceway at Western Fair District, returned to the London half-miler and erupted for a 21-1 stunner in Tuesday’s $10,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred 2.

Scott Coulter got away fifth with the mare while Ostinato and Twilight Seelster exchanged punches through fractions of :27.3, :57.1 and 1:25.3. Thatll Be Franny was third.

Doug Walters trains the distaffer, who surpassed $100,000 in career earnings with the win, for owner Gary Anderson of London, Ontario. The 13-time winner owns a 4-4-3 record from 14 starts this season.

Royal Cover Up wired up the seven foes she faced in the $7,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred 3. Trevor Henry put the Brian Hodgson trainee on the lead and she successfully sliced out splits of :28.1, :57.2 and 1:26.3 before finishing off her foes with a :30.2 final panel. She was 2-1/2 lengths better than Katherine B in 1:57, with Pathtodover taking home the show dough.

Sent off at odds of 8-1, the six-year-old daughter of Royal Mattjesty-Legalistic won for the first time in eight starts this season. The nine-time winner, who is owned by Donald Hodgson of Dorchester, Ontario, has banked more than $74,000 to date.
