Winbak Farm of Canada and Winbak Farm of Delaware both will be holding open houses soon to showcase the farms and their stallions. Winbak Farm of Canada’s open house will be held on Sunday, March 29, from 10 am to 2:30 pm with guest speakers on equine nutrition.  Winbak Farm of Delaware’s Open House will be held on Saturday, April 4, from 1 pm to 4 pm with Dr. Patricia Sertich from the University of Pennsylvania's New Bolton Center speaking.

 

Winbak Farm of Canada will be taking RSVPs for its event until March 25.  The day includes "Is hay really that important to my mares," by Alf Budweth of Budson Farm & Feed Company, "Body Condition Scoring and my mares," by Blair O. Keeling of Masterfeeds, "Breeding Management to Optimize Pregnancy Rates," by Dr. Keith Colquhoun, DVM, Colquhoun & Associates Equine Vet Services. There will also be hands-on body condition scoring, lunch, and a New Stallion Showcase.

 

Winbak Farm of Canada is now standing Badlands Hanover, sire of millionaire Badlands Nitro and 3-Year-Old Pacing Filly of the Year Tug River Princess.  Pacing Triple Crown winner Blissfull Hall also resides at Winbak Farm of Canada.   Winbak Farm of Delaware will be taking RSVPs for its event until March 31.  Dr. Patricia Sertich, Associate Professor of Clinical Education in Reproduction at New Bolton Center of the University of Pennsylvania, will speak about, "The Mare’s Placenta: A Diary of Her Pregnancy."  Then there will be the Delaware Stallion Showcase, with new stallions Giant Hit and Rustler Hanover being featured.
