Mike Lachance became the eighth driver in North America to reach the 10,000 win plateau on Sunday afternoon, guiding Cool Clyde to a 1:55 victory in the second race at Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack.
The Hall of Famer angled Cool Clyde first-over up the backstretch, steadily gaining upon and then wearing down Overwhelming Share (Yannick Gingras) for one-half length victory.
Rich Ringler trains the 3-year-old gelded son of Bonnie And Clyde for owner Robert Collins.
Lachance wasted no time toward the next milestone, taking the third race with Takeshigemichi after the unofficial first place finisher, Keepthepeace, was disqualified on account of a pylon violation. (Harrah's Chester)
