North State Street Stable’s Monochromatic ($2.60, Brad Hanners) and Jeff and David Clark and Vernon Cannon’s Ash Larue ($3.40, Jim Morand) each won their respective $16,000 Mares Junior Open divisions Tuesday at Harrington Raceway.


Ash Larue was the faster of the two winners with a front-stepping 1:53.1 wire-to-wire victory over Honey B Skipalong and Angelwithanattitude.


It was the third win of the year for the 7-year-old Artiscape mare, trained by Jeff Clark.


Meanwhile, Monochromatic was also a a front end winner in 1:53.2 after clearing just before the opening quarter in 27.2, Monochromatic cruised to a one length win over Nice N Nice and Vc Atom N.


Trained by Dylan Davis, Monochromatic is a 7-year-old daughter of Dream Away. Driver Ross Wolfenden had four winners on the program.
